People & Culture Officer - Alice Springs Australian Regional and Remote Community Services (ARRCS) – Katherine NT Full time ARRCS is actively sourcing a skilled People and Culture Officer to join their team on a permanent, full-time basis.
Based in Alice Springs , this busy and rewarding role will see you managing all new starters onboarding and compliance for Alice Springs and Central Australia region, and responding to the operational daily queries to People and Culture (HR).
In addition, you will lead the delivery of our HR day 1 orientation program monthly and provide support for the onboarding and management of our PALM workers.
The successful candidate will ideally have a background in generalist HR duties or senior administration.
They will be highly organized, have strong computer skills, enjoy problem-solving, and be comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.
Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business, or similar discipline would be highly regarded; however, they are not essential.
In addition, prior experience within the health or not-for-profit industries is preferred.

Skills & Experience Prior experience working in a Senior Administration or Human Resource Administrative background.
Strong and confident interpersonal skills to liaise and build relationships with internal stakeholders at all levels across the company.
This role requires organizational skills and the ability to be agile and multitask, often at short notice.
Ability to travel to remote locations of the NT, often with overnight stays.
Strong Microsoft Office Suite – with excellent experience utilizing Microsoft Word and Excel.
Possess excellent communication skills and a high level of attention to detail.
Comfortable working with and around the elderly.
