Ayers Rock Resort is searching for a

People & Culture Manager

to live and work onsite at Yulara, NT which is 20 min drive from Uluru, one of Australia's most iconic and culturally significant landmarks.

This is a rare opportunity for a human resources professional who is seeking a challenging and adventurous change.
You will work and live in Ayers Rock Resort, we are responsible for the whole town, from the Airport to the IGA, the Hotels, the Campground, and all Employee Accommodation.
If you thrive on building strong relationships, supporting management and enjoy having each day that is highly rewarding, but always different, then this role is for you.We are big believers that our role is to assist People Managers to manage their people!
This includes providing clear expectations, processes and working with our managers to be confident and capable to manage their own team.

This isn't any regular People & Culture role; we live in a magnificent location and this role will give you a unique perspective of Central Australia.

Who We're Looking ForWe're seeking a strong communicator, approachable and organized Human Resources professional to join the amazing Ayers Rock Resort team.
You will be collaborating with our key business leaders, internal and external stakeholders to promote change and fairness across our resort.

If you thrive on building strong relationships, developing innovative solutions and providing quality strategic HR advice you will find this role highly rewarding.
This is a true generalist role and with a hands-on approach you will have the opportunity to guide, lead & manage the broad range of HR activities and projects.

The ideal candidate is:

Mid-level careerHR Manager - solo in small to medium hotel or hospitality environmentSolid background as a generalistMust be familiar with Australian Employment obligations / Understanding of EBA interpretationsUndertakes workplace investigationsComfortable delivering small group training sessions in HR related areasWill not be required to undertake traditional recruitment - only on adhoc basis if at all - Needs to understand career development and career pathingUnderstand career development and cross skillingThe Best PartThe highlight of this job is having the chance to work with a diverse group of employees and contribute to the success of a unique and exciting tourism destination.
