Job Description Why This Role is Exciting:
As our People & Culture Manager, you'll be at the heart of driving change and cultivating a collaborative, inclusive culture.
Partner with our dynamic leadership teams across Victoria and Tasmania to elevate employee engagement and performance.
Your expertise will empower leaders, enable organizational strategies, and champion a workplace that celebrates innovation and leads the circular economy.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive and develop: actionable talent, workforce and succession plans to ensure a pipeline of talent for identified critical positions.
Collaborate: with wider people team and managers to identify and understand skills and competencies, ensuring we have the people capability to meet the needs of today and the future.
Drive Employee Engagement: develop and implement employee relations plans and EBA negotiations in conjunction with the group employee relations team, providing support and guidance to business leaders and other staff on employee relations matters including managing enterprise agreement negotiations.
Coach: Provide support and guidance to business leaders in optimizing their ability to have effective performance conversations to drive a culture of high performance teams.
What We're Looking For:
Experience:
Previous track record in a corporate HR role in manufacturing or similar industry desirable.
Good knowledge of relevant HR issues, methodologies and practices including knowledge of best practice and latest trends in functional area.
Proven experience in supporting and implementing sustainable HR systems and processes.
Strong understanding of all relevant workplace relations legislations and regulations.
Experience in engagement, culture change and change management methodologies.
Exceptional relationship-building skills that foster collaboration and trust.
Strong commercial acumen and insight into business dynamics.
Strength in identifying improvements and the ability to prepare people for new challenges with communication and action.
An analytical mindset to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
Qualifications A degree in Human Resources or a related field.
Experience or qualifications in culture change, talent assessment, or human behavioral change are a plus!
