Northeast Health Wangaratta (NHW) is the major health provider in the Central Hume region with an extensive range of acute, sub-acute, aged care and community services.
We are looking for a dynamic, energetic, and courageous P&C Officer to join our P&C Team.
You'll play a pivotal role in providing generalist HR support across the organisation. With a focus on collaboration and outcomes, you will champion a positive workplace culture, ensuring compliance with policies, and driving initiatives that benefit our employees.
In this role, you will work with our P&C Team to develop and implement our people strategies.
Key responsibilities include: Ability to learn and understand Enterprise Agreements, Fair Work Act and other relevant legislation for managers and employeesDevelop the ability to draft, review and distribute a high volume of employee Contracts, Variations of Contracts and correspondence, ensuring attention to detail and complianceContribute to the development and review of NHW Policies and Procedures – facilitate approval, distribution, education and review processesAssist staff with queries, and recommend action to be taken.You will: Possess customer service and communication skills and be able to influence outcomes, build and maintain professional relationships with a diverse range of stakeholdersHave an ability to develop technical HR capability with hands-on experience in end-to-end employee lifecycle processes.Have a can-do attitude, a strong work ethic and great problem-solving skills.
