About the role The People & Culture Data Analyst is responsible for the implementation, development, analysis and interpretation of people analytics to inform business decision making and drive business outcomes. The position holder will partner with the People and Culture (P&C) team in addition to other internal and external stakeholders, using reports & analytics to identify opportunities to enhance CPA's employee experience and efficiency of our people processes and programs.
The role will be based in Sydney offering hybrid working. The CPA Head Office is based in Allambie Heights.
Duties include: Design and implement solutions (e.g. PowerBi) to track and report on key people metrics such as turnover, retention, diversity, organisational effectiveness and talent acquisition.Analyse data to identify patterns, trends, and insights that can help inform decision-making and drive business outcomes.Design, create and build reporting/BI solutions according to business requirements.Prepare insights reports for senior leadership and Board.Partner with IT and other departments to integrate P&C systems and streamline data processes.Work collaboratively with key stakeholders to ensure alignment, knowledge share and to build understanding of reporting tools.Identify opportunities to improve and further automate reporting, self-service capability and associated training to improve the end user experience and operational efficiency.Responsible for driving forward the annual WGEA reporting process.Assist P&C teams/leaders with preparation, build and submission of additional annual reporting requirements.About you: Extensive experience designing and implementing solutions to track and report on people metrics.Experience and familiarity with Power BI, Tableau or similar data visualisation systems.Workday and Moodle experience is desirable, but not essential.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.Proficiency in process improvement, change and project management.A strategic mindset with the ability to pivot with the needs of the business.Important information: At CPA the safety of our staff and clients is of paramount importance.
