The Opportunity
The People & Culture (P&C) team actively contributes to fostering a high-performing and collaborative environment.
They provide comprehensive HR services including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, learning & development, and compliance reporting.
Additionally, they collaborate with senior leadership to align HR strategies with the organisation's goals and values, offering guidance on employee relations, talent acquisition, performance management, and compliance.
The team ensures adherence to employment laws, facilitates policy development, and maintains accurate HR records while promoting a supportive and compliant workplace culture.
What you'll do: Support the P&C team in managing all people & safety systems and operations of the People TeamAssist with recruitment efforts, including job posts, reviewing CV's, interview coordination, pre-hire documentation, and onboarding new employeesSupport new hires through the onboarding journeyMaintain up to date employee recordsAdminister necessary employment checks as requiredPrepare documents such as employee contracts, employee letters, position descriptions and others as neededAssist with monitoring and completion of safety incidents by people leadersAssist with L&D requirements for employeesConduct audits and assessments to identify areas of non-compliance and implement corrective actions as neededEnsure high quality and accurate HR administration and record keeping, always maintaining confidentiality and privacy obligations Skills and Experiences: What you'll bring:
You should have a relevant tertiary qualification in HR management or a related field, with sound knowledge of a broad range of HR functions and systems.
Experience in P&C or HR coordinator/administrator roles in public/community, private housing sectors, or similar fields, with a proven track record in developing and improving HR practices and implementing best practices, is essential.
