About the role:
As a People & Culture Coordinator at Design Sheetmetal, you will play a key role in supporting the HR function and contributing to the overall employee experience within our organisation. Working in a part-time capacity from our offices in Melbourne VIC, you will join a National P&C team and be responsible for a range of HR-related tasks and initiatives that will have a direct impact on our team, including but not limited to:
Providing administrative support across the full employee life cycle, including recruitment - advertising, screening, coordinating interviews, onboarding, employee file preparation, induction, offboarding, and maintaining accurate personnel recordsAssisting with the coordination of HR-related events, training, and development programsPartnering with the P&C team to implement and promote people-focused policies and proceduresServing as a point of contact for employee inquiries and supporting the resolution of HR-related issues as well as providing general ER & IR guidance and supportAssisting in performance management and disciplinary processesPreparing employee correspondence, file management, and reportingContributing to the ongoing development and improvement of HR systems and processesCollaborating with the Group Head of P&C and the broader team on implementing contemporary culture, talent and learning initiatives, driving initiatives that ensure a World-Class experience for our team membersExpected Hours:
This position requires a commitment between 20–30 hours per week. Flexibility in scheduling is available to accommodate your needs.
About you:  You will be an outstanding communicator, with sound experience in navigating the complexities and opportunities with stakeholders, and team members across all levels. As the ideal candidate, you'll demonstrate expertise in the following areas:
