What you will do Joining our small but mighty People & Culture (P&C) team, you will play an instrumental role in providing an exceptional employee experience and managing the key aspects of our employee lifecycle.
As the first point of contact for our team members, this role is key in ensuring the smooth running of P&C Operations by maintaining an organised process, fostering a positive workplace culture, and supporting our employee needs across the business.
Responsibilities include: Ownership of staff onboarding and offboarding – responsible for the entire employee life cycle from beginning to end - conducting background checks, coordinating staff onboarding with hiring managers, managing access to our HRIS systems, preparation of contracts and providing oversight of compliance for new hires.Maintenance of employee data and payroll records. You'll ensure that employee records and payroll information are regularly and meticulously updated. Assist with management of probation reviews and promotions as well as tracking our employee milestones, such as birthdays and anniversaries.Management of our employee engagement and recognition programs. Oversee our Brighte Stars recognition and rewards program, coordinate company-wide communications around any upcoming events, policies, benefits and work health and safety matters.Support and coordinate company-wide events including our weekly All Hands meeting, monthly birthday cakes, Brighte Meets conferences and Christmas parties.Management of P&C administration such as ownership of our P&C inbox, responding to employee inquiries promptly and escalating as required.Management of P&C administration. Provide support with staff compliance, support visa applications and renewals, coordination of our ESOP program and management of any workplace injuries, insurance claims and liaison with insurance providers.What you will bring You have a genuine passion for all things People & Culture and bring a proactive, people-first approach to supporting team members and enhancing the employee experience.Experience in a P&C Coordinator or similar role within an agile, fast-paced environment, with a focus on onboarding, data management, drafting employment documentation and enhancing employee experience.Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources (or related discipline) is desirable but not essential.You are confident in independently balancing day-to-day tasks with proactive, self-driven P&C initiatives, coupled with proven ability to handle sensitive information with a high level of confidentiality and discretion.Proficiency with P&C systems and processes (e.g., Employment Hero, Culture Amp), with a passion for continuous improvement. Exposure to using Confluence would be a bonus.Ability to use the MS Office suite effectively.Your attention to detail is second to none and you have excellent organisational skills.Effective written and verbal communication skills for clear, professional internal and external interactions.Diversity and Inclusion At Brighte, we celebrate diversity and encourage you to bring your whole self to work.
