People & Culture Coordinator - 11 Month Parental Leave Contract

THE OPPORTUNITY Our dynamic, passionate and fun People & Culture team are on the lookout for a driven and diligent People and Culture Coordinator to join our team in an 11-month parental leave role.
In this exciting role, reporting to the P&C Business Partner, you'll have the opportunity to work with a highly experienced People & Culture team, gaining exposure to all aspects of the team member lifecycle, whilst making an immediate impact.
In a snapshot, you'll be the go-to person for all team member queries whilst supporting the wider team in administrative duties and contributing to people-related business projects.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Act as a point of contact for team member P&C inquiries, triage & direct to the appropriate person.Monitor, triage, and action the P&C inbox.Manage Baby Bunting Paid Parental Leave process & casual conversion process.Ensure data integrity across our HRIS (IntelliHR).Support annual performance and remuneration review responsibilities.Review and administer employee contracts, ensuring compliance and accuracy.Daily, Weekly and Monthly HR Metrics reporting.Assist in various P&C projects and organisational culture initiatives.Maintain an understanding and awareness of Baby Bunting Awards, Industrial instruments, and Fair Work Australia legislation.Assist with the implementation and communication of HR policies & procedures.Contribute to the continuous improvement of People & Culture processes and systems.WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU… In this exciting career growth opportunity, you'll have a chance to learn from an experienced team, getting exposure to all elements of the employee lifecycle.We're accelerating our growth across Australia and New Zealand; when we grow, you grow!Hybrid working arrangements. We're making the most of flexible working, driving strong collaboration, and supporting our teams virtually and flexibly - work 2 days from home.We have a new Store Support Centre and National Distribution Centre based in Dandenong South, featuring modern technology and facilities including a team member hub, free onsite parking, Basketball court, BBQ area, and outdoor Table Tennis.Team Member & Family discount.Paid parental leave.Novated lease options available.Employee Assistance Program and Wellness Room.ABOUT YOU You have 1-2 years of experience in a similar role and are currently enrolled in or have recently completed a relevant diploma or degree.Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills, including the ability to engage with a wide variety of people across all levels of the organisation.You're a people person, with a proven ability to build and foster effective relationships.Well-developed organisational skills, including the ability to effectively prioritise tasks to meet deadlines and key objectives.Proven ability to handle sensitive material with care, maintaining confidentiality of P&C documents and other personal information.Demonstrated experience using a range of software systems including Microsoft Office Suite, with the ability to easily acquire new IT skills as required; prior experience with a HRIS (such as IntelliHR) is highly advantageous.Please note: Due to the intimate and personal nature of our work, successful applicants will need to undergo a National Police Criminal History check.
