Our team is GROWING! And we are excited to welcome an experienced People and Culture Business Partner to the team who will provide specialist Human Resource support and advice on a day-to-day basis to our organisation. Expectations of the role As a People and Culture Business Partner at ConnectAbility, you will be a trusted strategic advisor to senior leaders, aligning HR initiatives with business objectives and people needs. You will translate business requirements into actionable HR strategies, focusing on talent management, workforce planning and organisational development.

This means that our P&C Business Partner is someone who is adaptable and can easily communicate with all levels of the organisation in a professional and constructive way, navigate complex issues in a clear and direct manner, influence and coach others through change management protocols and identify continuous improvement opportunities for best practice in people & culture activities.   Reporting to the Executive Leader, People & Culture, your primary tasks will involve: Strategic HR leadership – supporting department heads with day-to-day strategic advice and support. Employee engagement & wellbeing – oversee inductions, conduct employee surveys and provide guidance and coaching to senior leader on HR matters.Organisational development and change management – champion organisational mission and values and participate in change management activities.Strategic planning and continuous improvement – collaborate on strategic planning initiatives with the P&C team and recommend improvements in practices.Investigations and disciplinary processes – undertake investigations, disciplinary, performance management, complaints and grievance processes.Key Requirements Demonstrated experience in providing people and culture advice and coaching to people at various levels of an organisation.Demonstrated experience in issues management and investigations, including the implementation of solutions to resolve conflict and underperformance issues.Evidence of contribution to the development and implementation of best practice generalist HR policies and procedures.Hands on experience in the development of contemporary people focused solutions.Knowledge of and experience of the Fair Work Australia industrial relations laws and framework.Understanding of Workers' Compensation and Injury Management regulationsExperience using HRIS and CRM software.Demonstrated flexibility to work as part of a team.Demonstrates excellent attention to detail and time management skills to multi-task and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.Tertiary qualifications and/ or relevant experience in human resource.Experience in disability or Allied Health environment (desirable).What can we offer: In addition to providing a competitive salary/rate, we are also able to provide long-term job security, career development and training opportunities as well as but not limited to the below list of employee benefits:
