P&C Business Partner – Brownfields Life Extension Project Location: Darwin, Northern Territory

About the Role
We are looking for a local Darwin People & Culture (P&C) Business Partner to join our team on a 5/2 roster, in Darwin, NT. You will play a key role in supporting the delivery of a high profile Brownfields Life Extension Project, ensuring HR operations and workforce strategies are executed seamlessly.
In this hands on role, you will work directly with project leadership and site teams to foster a productive and engaged workforce while ensuring compliance with workplace legislation and industrial agreements.
Key Responsibilities Partner with project leaders to deliver effective HR support across the project lifecycle by providing expert P&C/ER/IR advice.Act as the primary contact for employee relations, including performance management and conflict resolution.Drive engagement initiatives to maintain a positive workplace culture.Ensure compliance with relevant laws, enterprise agreements, and project-specific requirements.Collaborate with safety and wellbeing teams to promote workforce health and wellbeing.Deliver presentations on P&C topics (e.g., EEO, Enterprise Agreements).Ensure accurate record-keeping and data compliance.Contribute to annual people management programs (e.g., performance reviews, remuneration planning).
To excel in this role, you will bring: Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or a related discipline.Significant experience in a P&C Business Partner or similar role, preferably on large scale resources/oil & gas projectsComprehensive knowledge of employment legislation, enterprise agreements, and workforce mobilisation.Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and engage at all levels.A practical, solutions-focused mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.Previous experience working in a site-based, full-time role is highly desirable.
