People & Culture Advisor

McArthur is seeking an experienced People & Culture Advisor, to provide professional and operational HR generalist support to local council.As the first point of contact for clients you will provide expert advice to enquiries and requests, assist with the onboarding and off-boarding process, and provide key support to the People & Culture Business Partner.This is a casual position with full time hours, is available immediately and concludes in early October.Candidates must have full working rights, and an ability to obtain a clear National Police Check.Key Responsibilities: Provide general P&C advice to council staff, applicants, and other relevant stakeholders.Prepare correspondence, reports and documentation on recruitment, selection and general human resources issues as required.Support the P&C Business Partner in completing HR activities, such as probation reviews and annual appraisals.Support continuous improvement activities and system improvements across the P&C department.Provide high level administrative and generalist support to other teams within the P&C department as required.Key Selection Criteria: Demonstrated experience working in people & culture, HR or internal recruitment teams.Have sound judgement, and an ability to make independent decisions.Can maintain professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality.Strong written and verbal communicative skills.Proficiency with MS Office.If you are the perfect candidate for this position, please click 'A pply Now ' or submit a resume and cover letter to ****** .For a confidential discussion, please don't hesitate to reach out on 03 9828 6565 .
