We are now seeking an experienced, driven and motivated Corporate Partnerships Manager who can take Canteen's vision and values, foster key relationships and build successful partnerships to help achieve our ambitions.
You will be responsible for the effective development, management and growth of Canteen's portfolio of partners and contribute to the overall financial targets of the organisation and ultimately maintain Canteen's reputation as a 'partner of excellence' within the corporate sectors.
About our roleThe People & Culture (P&C) Advisor will partner with the P&C Manager to support both strategic and operational priorities across the P&C function, with a focus on talent management, team member engagement, training and development, and overall organisational effectiveness.
Canteen's success is driven by the strength and motivation of its people.
As a P&C generalist, this role will facilitate key people-related activities across the employee life cycle, such as enhancing manager capability, managing performance, and addressing employment relations matters.
Additionally, the P&C Advisor will play a pivotal role in continuously improving the organisation's P&C function and contributing to the achievement of Canteen's strategic goals.
Duties and Areas of Responsibility:Coordinate activities across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding and offboarding processes, supporting recruitment activities as needed, managing job changes, including employment variations, individual flexibility agreements, parental leave, remuneration, and other related employment terms and conditions.Assist the P&C Manager with implementing the People and Culture Annual Operational Plan.Coach and guide managers on performance management processes, promoting a high-performance culture and addressing underperformance in line with disciplinary procedures.Assist with a range of employee relations matters, including grievance handling and conflict resolution.Provide guidance to team members and leaders on P&C processes and procedures.Contribute to the development and implementation of an annual performance review framework and recognition program.Support performance and compensation reviews during the year-end process, as well as talent review and succession planning activities.Coordinate the rollout of the annual employee engagement survey, leading communication of results and co-developing action plans.Ensure P&C policies, procedures, and practices are up to date, aligned with best practices, and compliant with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.Maintain employee records and ensure data integrity within the HRIS (Employment Hero).About youSelection Criteria: Qualifications in Human Resources, or related field.Minimum 3 years' experience in HR.Experience in a Not-for-Profit setting.Knowledge of contemporary HR practices & employment law.Demonstrated understanding of Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS).Proven communication skills both written and verbal, including policy and report preparation.Unquestioned integrity and ability to adhere to confidentiality.Exceptional interpersonal, organisational, and customer service skills.Excellent trouble shooting and problem-solving skills.Strong attention to detail.A continuous improvement mindset and ability to create efficiencies.Enthusiastic with a 'can-do' attitude, a strong desire to work for Canteen, and an affinity with our purpose.If you're passionate about what you do and are ready to make a difference, apply now.
