Job Description - People & Culture Advisor (262498) HumeLink West Project Two CIMIC Group companies, UGL and CPB Contractors have been selected by Transgrid to deliver the ~140km western section of the HumeLink high voltage electricity transmission project.
HumeLink is a new 500kV transmission project which will connect Wagga Wagga, Maragle and Bannaby in regional NSW that will significantly increase the capacity of the electricity network in Australia's eastern states.
The Opportunity Please note this role will be based in Sydney for the duration of the project supporting the HumeLink West delivery team, occasional travel to the Wagga Wagga area will be required.
Key Accountabilities Develop and implement People & Culture initiatives to support project delivery priorities and company objectives.Provide guidance and advice on legislative changes and interpretations of P&C policies and procedures to the management and leadership team.Build and maintain business relationships with key stakeholders.Facilitate training and coaching for employees.In collaboration with the Recruitment Manager, coordinate the end-to-end recruitment and selection process utilising various sourcing channels.Work closely with P&C admin to manage employee changes including promotions, remuneration and position title changes.Coach and influence hiring managers and leaders on the project.Model and demonstrate constructive working relationships and information exchange within the team and stakeholders.About You Experience in coaching and influencing leaders.Minimum 4 years People & Culture experience.Demonstrated ability to interpret employment contracts and knowledge of relevant employment legislation.Experience within the engineering / construction industry (desirable).Intermediate to advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office programs (including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).The successful candidate will be required to hold a current Construction Industry Induction Card (White Card or equivalent) and undergo a medical assessment (including drug and alcohol testing) prior to commencement.
