Wesley College Melbourne, a school of the Uniting Church, established in 1866, is one of Australia's leading and most respected co-educational independent schools. With an enrolment of 3,400 students from ECLC to Year 12, it comprises three metropolitan campuses in Melbourne, at St Kilda Road, Glen Waverley and Elsternwick, outdoor education sites at Chum Creek, Mallana, Lochend and a Year 9 residential campus at Clunes. We are seeking to appoint an experienced practitioner to the full-time (1.0 FTE), temporary position of People & Culture Advisor.This position is a 12-month leave replacement, commencing at the beginning of July 2024.This is can be a hybrid position, with the requirement to workfromboththe St Kilda Rd or Glen Waverley campusonce a week. Working closely with other members of the People & Culture team, the People & Culture Advisor has key responsibilities in the provision of high-quality operational service and support to line managers and staff of a designated client group, as well as providing support on people issues and processes. The successful candidate will possess 3+ years' experience in a People & Culture / Human Resources role with direct client-supporting responsibilities, ideally with experience in the education or professional services sector. Experience withLMS, HRIS/ERP and advanced computer literacy skillsareessential. Presenting with strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to relate to people at all levels, the successful candidate will possess a demonstrable commitment to the highest levels of client service. A current Working with Children Check and National Police Certificate are essential requirements of this role. Applications close at 5:00pm on Friday 17 May 2024.
