The Position: The People & Culture team is an integral part to the overall success of ISS Operations at Melbourne Airport and is looking for a highly driven, passionate and experienced individual on a fixed term contract of 6 months to assist with a large recruitment drive, with the possibility of extension.
Reporting to the People & Culture Manager, the role will be responsible for high quality advisory, recruitment and administrative functions across the People & Culture portfolio, across both terminal and airfield operations. The role is on site, 5 days per week.
We will also consider any candidates who are specialised in recruitment.
On-site, free parking Opportunities to develop your career within our global organisation The Role Be the initial contact for People & Culture telephone, email and internet inquiries from employees and managersPioneer aspects of the employment life cycle, including recruitmentProvide advisory and support duties as allocated by the People & Culture ManagerAssist in driving people matters in line with the EBA, Fair Work legislation and policiesCoordinate performance development and probations of placemakersCoordinate Recruitment, Onboarding and Offboarding of staffAsist in reviewing and maintaining policies, contracts, positions descriptions and and relevant SOPsReporting, data collation and record keepingCoordinate the interplay between the People & Culture portfolio, and Training & Capability teamAbility to obtain an ASIC security clearance (Criminal history clearance for the past 10 years)Own reliable transport Qualification in Human Resources, Legal Studies or equivalentTech Savvy: Proficient in PageUp (or equivalent), Microsoft Office 365 (Teams, OneDrive, MS Forms)Experience in end-to-end employee lifecycle within a fast-paced environmentAbility to learn quickly and implement knowledge into practiceAbility to multitask and prioritise competing workloads Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build strong working relationships with a variety of stakeholdersExcellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail and professional demeanourCoaching, mediation and professional development experience desirableTo apply for this role please click on the 'apply' link and complete the online application.
