The Opportunity  Reporting to the People & Culture Manager, this true generalist role is hands-on in the application of people & culture processes across our organisation, providing the opportunity to experience a wide range of people matters across recruitment (internal and external), provision of advice and interpretation of Modern Award and Enterprise Agreement conditions, involvement in employee relations and industrial matters, and general HR policy and process interpretation.
You will also have opportunity to collaborate on and drive a range of 'value add' initiatives, activities, and projects in the People & Culture space.
Primary responsibilities will include: Coordination of the end to end recruitment process, including (where applicable) briefing, advertising, screening, participation in interviews and assessment centers, contract generation and coordination of onboarding experience and process for a wide range of both professional and front line positions Oversee seasonal recruitment drives, maximising candidate engagement & supporting hiring managers in recruitment activities Support, coach, and train team members, supervisors, and managers in people processes, providing consistent and thoughtful advice and interpretation in relation to policy, process and legislation Participate in workplace investigations, performance and disciplinary processes in support of fair and consistent outcomes Drive and support positive people initiatives across our diverse workforce, including activations and events, training and education, and other campaign projects like engagement surveys, performance reviews etc.
About you You will have a demonstrated background working in a generalist role with a minimum of 2-3 years in a similar advisory level role.
Ideally you will have strong recruitment skills with experience in volume recruitment and be comfortable in a fast paced, busy environment that will see you managing multiple roles and competing demands.
Your good working knowledge of ER/IR processes, strong communication skills and attention to detail, and ability to prioritise while successfully managing relationships with stakeholders and candidates at all levels of seniority will see you succeed in this role.
Qualifications in Human Resources will be highly regarded.
