About the Opportunity
As a P&C advisor at ASC you will work alongside the P&C Business Partner supporting our large Operations workforce. You will establish and maintain effective stakeholder relationships across our complex business structure. You will be the first point of contact for operational People and Culture related queries.
Responsibilities Provide generalist People and Culture related advice and direction to employees and managers.Undertake and manage formal employee investigations processes.Provide support to the P&C Business Partner on activities projects that align with ASC's strategic direction and People and Culture Policy.Capture, understand and then interpret HR data, trends and analytics.Ensure best practice and compliance within company policy, procedures, enterprise agreements and employment legislation.Establish and maintain relationships with key management personnel and employees.Provide a level of coaching, facilitation and advising to build leadership capability; and support the development of business unit plans which link to the People and Culture strategies.Contribute to continuous improvement by developing new processes and procedures to ensure best practice HR.About you Human Resource related tertiary qualifications with an interest in expanding on your Industrial Relations and Fair Work legislative knowledge.Strong demonstrated experience in a P&C generalist role.Experience with Award and EBA interpretation.Understanding of the Fair Work Act and the National Employment Standards.Experience working with a HRIS system.Ability to apply critical thinking to effectively explore issues and develop successful solutions.Intermediate to advanced MS Office skills and HR platforms.Experience working within complex business environments within a medium to large organisation.Ability to manage employee performance management matters, grievances and coach leaders through resolutions.Skills in stakeholder engagement and relationship development abilities.Strong demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders.Be open minded, outcomes focused, and enjoy a thriving, changing environment.Eligibility
This role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearance.
