Start ASAP until end March 2025 Work 2-3 days in CBD office and remaining days working from home Work with a small supportive team Company: A Statutory authority that oversees regional transportation services in Melbourne.
The department handles recruitment, training, workforce planning, employee relations, and payroll, while also delivering tailored leadership and cultural change programs.
Role: The role will support the People Services and Payroll team by coordinating duties across the employee lifecycle, from onboarding new hires to payroll processing.
It involves managing daily administrative tasks and providing exceptional customer service as the first point of contact for employee and manager enquiries.
Responsibilities: Supporting the onboarding of new hires and internal appointments by transposing of information into various systems.
Providing support to People Services by processing payroll forms, employment letters and contracts, and correspondence from employees.
The administration of employee medical records and reporting.
Providing exceptional service and response to all general queries from employees.
Ensuring regulatory compliance by maintaining employee records within various HR Systems and platforms.
Administrative support with ad hoc projects.
Being objective when advising on employee issues and investigating and resolving discrepancies.
About you: Excellent organisational and time management skills.
A high level of attention to detail.
The ability to work across various platforms with complex manual systems and processes.
The ability to multitask and determine priorities with tight and conflicting deadlines.
The ability to deal with confidential and sensitive information with a high level of discretion The ability to work in a team environment, collaborate, share information and provide input to discussions Tertiary education in Human Resources or Business Administration or experience with Human Resources Information Systems is highly desirable.
