Lovisa Opportunity: The People & Talent Advisor will be responsible for supporting the business across Retail and Support Centres by providing guidance, policy interpretation and support to team members relating to employee relations, HR & organizational policies and procedures.
The People & Talent Advisor is responsible for: Providing guidance, policy interpretation and support to team members relating to employee relations, HR & organizational policies and procedures. Ensuring compliance with employment legislation in all regions Providing timely, effective, people focused solutions to challenges and identifying opportunities to improve our practices and execute strategies to rectify issues. Conduct investigations and prepare reports on cases managed and investigations concluded in line with company grievance procedures and policies. Record all cases managed and investigations conducted. Effectively partnering with key stakeholders and other HR functions to support business objectives. Supporting the delivery and implementation of our key HR projects and events Consistently represent Lovisa culture and values Proactively identify and solve personnel issues in conjunction with the department managers, Regional Managers before they escalate. Support in providing recommendations to department managers, Regional Managers/District Managers concerning employee performance. Adhere to the required employment legislation for all markets and manage in line with Lovisa culture. Lovisa Loves : A can-do attitude with the following skills:
3 – 5 years of experience in a HR role, specializing in ER investigations Bachelor's degree in business or diploma in Human Resources / Employment Law Proven ability to plan, organize and deliver results on time in a fast past environment. Demonstrated understanding of customer experience and ability to build productive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. Ability to influence and negotiate desired outcomes. Meticulous attention to detail and ability to multi-task Strong case management skills and experience Sound knowledge of the Fair Work Act, Retail Award and other relevant employment law The ability to critically analyze HR data for the purpose of identifying trends and preparing HR plans. Strong time management and organizational skills and attention to detail to manage work, competing deadlines and sensitive projects. Prior experience working on an HRIS.
