In this role, you'll work closely with our Operations Manager to align our human resources with the needs of our clients, ensuring that our services are delivered with the highest level of care and commitment. You'll be instrumental in recruiting and developing talent, managing performance, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities: Human Resource Planning: Ensure staff are optimally placed, aligning skill sets with the appropriate roles. Communicate regularly with upper management and the Operations Manager on people and culture matters. Recruitment and Selection: Manage the recruitment process, from sourcing candidates to conducting interviews. Oversee resume management and present top candidates to upper management. Performance Management: Monitor staff productivity and conduct performance reviews. Address concerns, grievances, and feedback from participants, next of kin, and external stakeholders. Learning and Development: Organize and manage training programs, including first aid, CPR, NGO training modules, and other required sessions. Invest in staff development to build necessary skills and competencies. Evaluation: Conduct bi-annual staff surveys and prioritize key functions that contribute to the organization's success. Career Planning: Provide growth opportunities and align staff ambitions with company goals. Manage casual conversions and other career development processes. Rewards: Recognize and reward staff through career opportunities, salary, status, recognition, and work-life balance. Industrial Relations & HR: Stay updated on legal changes relevant to Go Care Support Services and communicate these to the appropriate team members. Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety protocols, including OH&S standards. Administration: Maintain employee data, manage sick leave, and oversee roster management. Handle staffing procedures related to relocations, discipline, performance improvement, and other HR matters. Wellbeing: Coordinate employee assistance programs and wellbeing seminars/workshops. Serve as the first point of contact for staff payroll and benefits queries, working closely with the Payroll Officer and team leaders. Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement improvements in policies, procedures, and processes. Why Join Us?
