The Opportunity The People and Culture Team at Sealink - K'gari are seeking a P&C Generalist to join the team. This role plays an integral part in supporting the operations and P&C Manager with Human Resource related matters.
Your effective communication style, strong attention to detail, and ability to achieve results in a fast-paced environment will be key to success in this role. This is a permanent full-time salaried role working 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
The role will require you to service all areas of the business including 2 resorts, tours, and marine operations. This role is an onsite role with the requirement to be on the Island most days.

Assisting managers with people-centric conversations, including performance management. Interpret industrial instruments and legislation to provide timely advice to support leaders and employees. Support effective implementation of engagement strategies, and track and report on trends from engagement activities. Updating relevant documentation inclusive of P&C related policies and procedures, Position Descriptions, Org charts, etc. Providing payroll administration and collaboration. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and work collaboratively. Any other duties or projects as required. Skills, Qualifications & Experience Currently working in a Generalist HR Role, or appropriate experience Tertiary Qualifications in Human Resources field Demonstrated people management and engagement experience in a culturally diverse environment with the ability to coach and mentor staff. The ability to prioritise workload in a fast-paced environment. Strong accuracy, attention to detail, and organisational skills. Can-do attitude and problem solver. High level of interpersonal, liaison, and consultation skills. Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Experience working in hospitality would be well received. Ability to work well in a team-driven and collaborative environment.
