As the People and Culture Manager, you'll be at the heart of shaping our client organisation people strategy.
Reporting to the CEO, you will lead efforts to strengthen our workplace culture, drive employee engagement, and ensure operational excellence in HR.
This role is perfect for a dynamic and values-driven leader who can balance strategic thinking with hands-on implementation.
The role involves: Human Resources Management
Oversee end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding.
Drive performance management processes, career development, and succession planning.
Maintain accurate, confidential employee records and manage HR systems.
Address employee relations issues and foster positive workplace relationships.
Ensure compliance with local and federal employment laws and industry standards.Culture and Engagement
Build and sustain an inclusive, innovative, and collaborative culture.
Lead diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives.
Drive employee engagement with team-building events, recognition programs, and creative company-wide activities.Policy and Compliance
Develop and update HR policies and procedures, ensuring fairness and clarity.
Create and manage the Employee Handbook, communicating policies effectively.
Serve as the HR point of contact for compliance and legal matters.Employee Wellbeing
Champion programs that promote mental health, work-life balance, and overall wellness.
Develop flexible work arrangements to support employee satisfaction and retention.Learning and Development
Identify training needs and implement tailored learning programs.
Launch leadership development and mentoring initiatives.
Foster a culture of continuous professional growth and learning.What They Are Looking For: Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.5+ years in a people and culture leadership role, preferably in construction or related industries.Strong knowledge of employment law, HR operations, and best practices.Proven ability to influence stakeholders and build trust at all levels.Exceptional communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.Passion for cultivating an inclusive, engaging, and supportive workplace.Why join our client?
