Reporting to the GM of People, Performance & Culture, this role plays an integral part in the people and culture strategy supported by a highly competent team. This fast-moving role requires a people first approach, business partnering experience, robust talent management experience, strong organisational and project management skills. Key Responsibilities: Overall responsibility for end-to-end People & Culture function reporting to the GM PP&C including strategic initiativesLead a close-knit talented team encompassing Talent Acquisition, Business Partnering and Health & SafetyLeads and supports staff engagement and culture initiatives to strengthen organisational cultureProvides coaching and stakeholder management advice on a broad range of workplace matters including performance management, staff development and retention strategiesManages the staff and volunteer recruitment of talent capability to deliver community health services and commercial contractsEnsures compliance with Australian workplace law and resolves employment related issuesLead and implement key project initiatives including a new HRISExperience and Qualifications: Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalentMinimum 10 Years of significant HR experience working in Australia and/or NZComprehensive knowledge of best practice and regulations in Human ResourcesExceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels of the organisationDemonstrated experience in leadership, coaching and development at all levelsDemonstrates strong customer service, business partnership and collaborationEffective organisation and time management skills with the ability to work under pressureProven knowledge and experience implementing systems and processes including a HRISAdvanced skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and well-developed computer literacyAbout St John Ambulance NSW: Every day, Australians are at risk of illness, injuries and potentially life-threatening situations at home, in the workplace and the community.
