About the RoleAs the People and Culture Manager, reporting directly to the CEO, you will be a pivotal member of our executive team, responsible for shaping and executing our people strategy to align with BttB's mission and values.
Your role will encompass:
Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement comprehensive HR strategies that support our organisational goals, focusing on talent acquisition, development, and retention.Team Management: Lead and mentor a dedicated HR team, including an HR Manager and two HR Support Coordinators, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.Learning and Development: Design and oversee programs that promote continuous staff development, ensuring our team possesses the skills and knowledge to support our mission effectively.Organisational Culture: Cultivate a positive and inclusive workplace environment that reflects our core values, enhancing employee engagement and satisfaction.Compliance and Governance: Ensure adherence to all relevant employment laws and regulations, maintaining best practices in HR policies and procedures.Conflict Resolution: Manage workplace investigations, conflict resolution, and mediation processes to maintain a harmonious work environment.Operational Oversight: Oversee payroll functions and other HR operations as needed, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.This role offers a unique opportunity to influence the growth and development of both our staff and the young individuals we serve, making a lasting impact on the community.
What We're Looking For Experience: Proven experience in a senior HR role, preferably within the not-for-profit sector, with a track record of strategic leadership and team development.Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead, inspire, and develop HR teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.Communication: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with diverse stakeholders.Strategic Thinking: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with experience in developing and implementing HR strategies that drive organisational success.Qualifications: Relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.Why Join Boys to the Bush?At BttB, we are more than just a team—we are a community dedicated to making a real difference.
