The role of People and Culture Manager will oversee the Human Resources function of Majestic Hotels & Apartments. This role will be the ambassador for the people strategies and culture influencing the organisation's success, ensuring our people and managers are set up to perform their roles in a high-performance environment, and by ensuring that appropriate HR policies, practices, systems and procedures are in place and operating effectively.
What you will be responsible for: Build and implement Majestic's People and Culture strategy, plans, frameworks and guidelines, maximising the engagement of our people as a crucial component of a high performing organisation.Build and implement efficient and effective HR frameworks and practices that guide all areas of the business to follow HR processes that engage staff, maximise business value, minimise business risk and are fully compliant.Employee Lifecycle Experience - create the ultimate Majestic Hotels people experience throughout the employee lifecycle.Build Work Health and Safety systems and practices (including Governance and Reporting, and Return to Work) which ensure guest, staff and visitor safety at all times.Work with the Majestic leadership team to ensure all areas are compliant with relevant laws and regulations, including HACCP, WHS, Anti-Discrimination laws, and liquor licensing.Driving positive outcomes in line with business objectives and ensure consistent adherence to company policies and procedures.Provide HR Advice and Support to Managers and Team Leaders in relation to policies and practices relating to all areas of HR (as listed above).What the successful candidate will have: 3-5 years management experience and working within people and culture teamsBachelor's degree in Human Resource Management or related discipline3+ years' experience in Hospitality or related environment (desirable)High emotional intelligence, integrity, and maturity.
