ABOUT THE ROLEWe have an exciting opportunity for a part-time (21 hours per week) People and Culture Coordinator to join our team to take ownership of coordinating the key People and Culture functions across Breast Cancer Trials.
This newly created role provides the perfect opportunity to join a small, dynamic team to gain hands-on experience across all areas of HR, including recruitment, onboarding and offboarding, learning & development, compliance, WHS, performance management, employee engagement, all whilst contributing to building a positive workplace culture.
Reporting to the People and Culture Business Partner, primary responsibilities will be to:
Coordinate employee life cycle activities including:end-to-end recruitment;employee onboarding and offboarding, including system implementation; andprobation and staff performance review processesPrepare employee contracts and variation letters, advice to payroll and carry out other people and culture administrative tasks.Coach and support BCT staff and leaders on BCT policies, procedures and employee matters and escalate complex cases to the P&C Business Partner.Support the P&C Business Partner and/or Leadership Team to deliver key People and Culture initiatives and drive continuous improvement across People and Culture processes.Act as the return-to-work coordinator and support the HRBP in managing BCT's WHS responsibilities, including WHS Management system.ABOUT YOU?Tertiary qualifications (University Degree) and/or equivalent demonstrable relevant experience and skillsProven experience in HR; minimum 2-3 years of experience in managing end-to-end recruitmentAbility to identify and implement systems or procedures for key People and Culture functionsExperience with HRIS and recruitment systems (ELMO experience advantageous)A solid understanding of employment legislationAbility to maintain privacy and confidentiality of sensitive informationExperience in Mercer methodology for remuneration evaluations is highly desirableReturn to Work Coordinator certificate is highly desirableWHY WORK FOR US?Salary Packaging - In addition to your salary you can package up to $15,900 annually pre tax and benefit from a $2,650 meals and entertainment cardWork/Life Balance - Flexible work arrangements + hybrid workProfessional development – Training, development and career progression opportunitiesRecognition and Reward - Length of service recognition and rewards + additional long service leave after 10 years + gifted leave between Christmas and New YearWellness – Income protection insurance + employee assistance program + additional carers leaveAt BCT, we value diversity.
