Consulting & Generalist HR (Human Resources & Recruitment) Trident Services Australia is a leading security and facilities management company; servicing airports, and retail and commercial precincts across Australia. Keeping people and property safe is the cornerstone in all that we do.
As the provider of aviation security services to our client, Queensland Airports Limited (QAL), at their Gold Coast, Townsville and Mt Isa airports, our near 300 dedicated and talented employees screen and manage various security functions for over 4.4 million passengers yearly. Combined with the support of experienced and knowledgeable aviation security management and training professionals at these sites, Trident's success and growth in this sector has resulted in the majority of airports operating in Queensland and the Northern Territory under our aviation security management.

Located at Queensland's second largest airport, Gold Coast Airport, and reporting to the Key Account Manager, you will liaise and collaborate closely with site leadership teams across all three airports. This is definitely a role for a measured individual who will be valued for their contribution as a member of the senior management team.

Given your expertise in recruitment, performance management, and industrial relations, and your positive, proactive, and genuine passion for people, you will drive the Trident culture and client brand across all aspects of the human resources function.
What will you be doing? Guiding and supporting site managers with industrial relations, performance management and disciplinary advice, in conjunction with the assistance of the national people and culture team Coordinating the employee life cycle, including all aspects of recruitment, onboarding and off-boarding for each of the three airports Coordinating employee engagement and recognition programs Liaising with union delegates and representatives including managing workplace consultation committees and other initiatives Managing onsite HR related training and compliance activities Providing general HR administrative duties including data entry, conducting HRIS and HR-related compliance audit and consumables management What will you bring to the role? Tertiary qualifications in HR, business or other relevant degree or demonstrated equivalent knowledge, skills, and experience A minimum of 3 years' experience in a human resources or management role where there is a strong focus on employee management A solid understanding of Awards/Agreements and general industrial relations instruments including the Fair Work Act, and the NES A positive and enthusiastic approach with a can-do attitude Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a friendly and professional approach and the ability to build rapport with a diverse range of people Strong administrative and organisational skills, including high attention to detail and accuracy and strong working knowledge of Microsoft packages Ability to show initiative, prioritise tasks and work flexibly in a fast-paced environment Ability to travel to regional airports, if required Additional requirements Eligibility to hold an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC) #J-18808-Ljbffr
