This will include
Lead development initiatives for business units - leadership, competency, complianceManage and resolve employee relations issues, ensuring balanced people and business outcomesPartner with leaders to provide expert advice on effective solutions and organisational designConducing onboarding and off-boarding, alongside People Operations teamConducting monthly payroll for China-based employeesCreating employment documentation for China-based employees (in Mandarin)Participating in the recruitment process for international roles, ensuring alignment with company values and cultureAssessing training needs within international teams and coordinating learning and development initiativesProviding guidance on compensation and benefits packages for international employees in line with industry standardsSupporting organisational change efforts by communicating effectively with international teams and facilitating smooth transitionsMaintaining up-to-date knowledge of employment legislation relevant to international locationsThe ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, demonstrate cultural awareness, have solid knowledge of P&C best practices, and be able to thrive in a dynamic, multi-cultural environment.

This is an in office role based in Warriewood, on Sydney's Northern Beaches. Desired Skills and ExperienceAbout you It is essential that you are fluent in Mandarin, with experience in China-mainland employment practicesStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to build and maintain relationships with stakeholdersStrategic thinking and planning capabilitiesKnowledge of employment policies and forward-thinking practicesRequired ExperiencesA minimum of 5 years' experience in a business partner or P&C role within the FMCGDemonstrated experience in implementing P&C strategies aligned with business objectivesProven track record of improving employee engagementExperience with change management initiatives in a corporate environmentKeen understanding of talent acquisition, development, and retention practicesA history of successful collaboration with senior leadership teams to drive organisational goals
