About the roleAs a People and Culture Business Partner, you will provide employment and legislative advice and manage complex industrial relation actions through to resolution.
You will develop, build and maintain collaborative working relationships that will establish successful and professional business partnerships.
The Business Partner will work closely with a Senior Business Partner to develop and implement people and culture initiatives and contribute to the development, implementation and delivery of projects.
This position is required to provide quality customer service and create value for the community.
ResponsibilitiesUse your HR business partnering and high level interpersonal skills to support business unitsManage complex industrial relations and employee mattersWork in a dynamic and customer focused teamTo be successful in this role, you will have:Degree qualifications in Human Resources Management, Business Management or relevant field OR significant solid contemporary industrial relations and generalist human resource management experienceCurrent Class C Drivers LicenceExtensive experience in a similar role working with diverse client groups in medium to large complex organisationsSignificant experience in managing outcomes for complex grievance, dispute and performance management related mattersExtensive experience in the interpretation and application of Award, industrial and employment legislationDemonstrated experience in researching and analysing information of a complex and sensitive nature to deliver proactive solution based outcomesDemonstrated proficiency in providing technical expertise, coaching and advice to relevant staff to allow them to effectively undertake their responsibilities and dutiesDemonstrated ability to build strong, credible relationships and influence, persuade or negotiate outcomes that add value to the organisationProven ability to assess and interpret information to formulate recommendations and provide specialist advice to enable the organisation to achieve quality outcomes.Other important informationThe salary range for this position ranges between $99k to $119k plus 11.5% superannuationThis is a permanent full-time and a temporary full-time role.This role will be able to access a 9 day fortnight.We are able to offer hybrid and flexible working conditions for this role - 2 days work from home and 3 days on site.This role is located at the Wyong Administration Building.Extra benefitsAt Central Coast Council we provide team members with a range of extras that help them balance their life when they need it.
