HR Partners by Randstad are looking for a People and Culture Advisor to join our client government site in Townsville. This role is a temporary role Monday-Friday until 2025. The role is 38hours per week with an option for an RDO every second week. This role is paying $73.46 per hour.

This position will work to deliver exceptional customer service to our community, whilst continuing to innovate and create value in all work undertaken. This work will be delivered through collaboration with the leadership team and in consultation with the community. This position will involve actively contributing to achieving the strategic vision through exemplary safety practices, personal accountability, and customer focus.
Lead, develop and support a small team to meet service expectations of the organisation, with a strong emphasis on continuous improvement.Work collaboratively with the organisation to provide comprehensive advice, education, and service delivery, whilst building strong working relationships with key stakeholder at all levels.Lead the development and implementation of People and Culture systems and projects as determined by the General Manager People and Culture.Coordinate end to end recruitment process, including eRecruit system and onboarding of employees utilising various market applicable methods/mediums.Coordinate Labour Hire Contract, including regular meetings and problem resolution with preferred suppliers and contract customers.Manage position evaluation (level) process, including the moderation, evaluation and award classification of position descriptions, whilst ensuring organisational benchmarking.Manage HRIS systems to ensure effective development and application of business needs, along with accuracy of data capture.Provide advice on responsibilities as they apply to legislative funding, trainee and apprentice wage classifications and progression, and ensure compliance with relevant administrative directives.Ensure continuous improvement of processes and service delivery across, including administrative directives, procedures, and forms.
About the individual:
Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or related field.
Extensive experience working in a similar role in a diverse multi-disciplined organisation.
Strong leadership skills with experience leading a team within a supportive and collaborative work culture.
Previous experience in HR related systems and projects, including the development and implementation of such.
Highly developed communication and negotiation skills with the ability to drive change with key stakeholders and industries and solve complex problems through the design and implementation of effective solutions.
Ability to build strong customer relationships, balancing multiple and diverse stakeholder needs, and delivering customer-centric solutions that also meet organisational objectives
Working knowledge of applicable legislation and the interpretation of industrial instruments.
