The Opportunity SEE Group have a great career opportunity available for a HR Advisor to join our highly professional and skilled People and Culture team. This is a diverse and fast-paced role working on a significant civil/mining project based in Orange, NSW. This is a full-time FIFO position on an 8/6 roster travelling from Brisbane to Orange or alternatively for someone locally based, working on an 8/6 roster.
Your knowledge of contemporary human resources will give you the ability to build on our established processes and influence managers while advocating and supporting our positive culture and showcasing your HR generalist skills in a practical environment.
Responsibilities
Providing support and guidance for the day-to-day operations of the People and Culture function on a project site
Provide guidance on policies, procedures, and industrial relations to managers on various P&C matters
Collaborate with stakeholders on various organisational capability, diversity, leadership, and change initiatives
Coordinate employee onboarding and support the Talent Acquisition Team with recruitment as required
Coordinating the performance review process
Essential Skills and Attributes
Human Resources or related Business Degree or Diploma.
An understanding of different industrial instruments, including Enterprise Agreements, Modern Awards and Australian Legislation
Working within a team effectively
MS office skills (intermediate)
Customer service focus
Problem analysis and decision making
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet strict deadlines
Have a strong understanding of the importance of confidentiality and professionalism
Proven experience dealing with internal stakeholders and strong communication skills
