Salary Range: $92,332 - $104,762
Join a growing regulatory Authority as a People and Culture Adviser, where you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day HR operations of the full employee lifecycle. The People and Culture Adviser will also support key HR projects and deliverables including development of the OHS framework, delivery of the annual People Matter Action Plan, professional development programs, and implementation of new HR systems and modules.
About us The Portable Long Service Authority (the Authority) is a self-funded statutory body established to administer the Long Service Benefits Portability Act 2018. The Act, together with the Long Service Benefits Portability Regulations 2020 provide a Portable Long Service Benefits Scheme. The Authority plays an important role in allowing workers in the community services, contract cleaning and security industries to build up long service benefits based on time in their industry rather than with a single employer. About the role The People and Culture Adviser collaborates with both management and employees to offer assistance and guidance throughout the employee lifecycle. Reporting to the Senior Manager of People and Culture, this role involves providing HR advice, managing end-to-end recruitment processes, ensuring timely payroll processing, supporting employee learning and development, and fostering important stakeholder relationships.
About you Our ideal candidate will have proven experience in all aspects of Human Resources, such as recruitment, onboarding, performance management, training, and payroll. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential to establish positive relationships with both employees and management and provide effective written and verbal guidance.
