This role is essential in providing support to the People and Culture department while also being the face of our office at the front reception.
In this role you will be responsible for:
Delivering exceptional customer service, welcoming clients, students and visitors to reception.Performing general reception duties including photocopying, filing, emailing and petty cash.Answering and monitoring phones, transferring calls and handling enquiries for corporate departments in a professional manner.Assisting with recruitment tasks such as pre-screening, preparing employment agreements, and handling document variations.Supporting onboarding activities for new employees, including paperwork preparation and inductions.Maintaining accurate personnel files and regularly updating HRIS.Ensuring confidentiality in all HR practices.Completing internal auditing to ensure compliance.Working collaboratively with the People & Culture team members to provide key deliverables. Desired Skills and ExperienceYour application will be assessed against the below key competencies: Relevant Human Resources (HR) qualifications or current enrolment in HR studies is preferred but not essential.Demonstrated experience, or the capacity to perform a broad range of HR functions.Familiarity with recruitment processes such as phone screening, interview coordination, and reference checks.Proficiency in using HR Information Systems (HRIS) and databases.Competency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.Ability to effectively engage with individuals at all levels.Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.Capability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in work.Dedication to maintaining confidentiality in all HR matters.Cultural competency and a commitment to workplace diversity:Successful applicants must demonstrate their commitment to are-able's Vision and Values.
