Capacity: Full-time, Temporary (December 2024 - February 2025)
About the role The Administration Assistant plays a pivotal role within the People & Culture Services team by delivering a high volume of administrative services. As an Administration Assistant, you will take ownership of over 50 different HR services, ranging from compliance checks, letter preparation and answering general enquiries via phone and email. In addition to this, you will also be involved in engaging with exciting projects from time to time.
The Administration Assistant is required to perform tasks that include but are not limited to:
Processing various compliance checks including Working With Children Check number status, working rights, NESA accreditation and referencesAdministering our various P&C related platforms, including our staff compliance platform or contractors/volunteers platformReviewing applications from prospective applicantsPreparing various letters and statementsProcessing various payroll related transactions, including super, tax and deductionsSupporting general People & Culture enquiries via email and telephoneWhy work for Sydney Catholic Schools In joining SCS, you will be part of the largest Catholic education community in NSW, with a unified vision and shared resources, encompassing over 145 schools and over 74,000 students. Tertiary qualifications in Administration, Human Resources Management or other relevant fields or minimum two years relevant industry experienceDemonstrated high level computer literacy through proficiency in Microsoft Office packages including Word and PowerPoint, SharePoint, Google mail/apps, and PHRISProven exceptional written and verbal communication skillsDemonstrated highly developed interpersonal skillsDemonstrated excellent telephone manner and high order skills in handling difficult conversationsDemonstrated excellence in customer and client serviceDemonstrated personal initiative and ability to work effectively in a team environmentProven high level written, oral and presentation skillsA valid Working With Children Check clearance (WWCC) numberAbility to respect, support and uphold the mission, ethos and teachings of the Catholic Church and the values of Sydney Catholic SchoolsApplication Process To apply for this position please click the APPLY button and follow the prompts.
