Position Overview
As a People Advisor, you'll be at the forefront of partnering with our frontline leaders all the way up to senior managers, working closely with the Senior People Business Partner. Your primary goal will be to develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, enabling you to influence people decisions at a team/function level. You'll play a crucial role in implementing best practice people solutions, providing sound talent management advice, and supporting all employees with their HR queries.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as a trusted HR partner to frontline leaders and senior managers, providing guidance on HR matters.
Lead Tier 2 HR queries within assigned client groups, collaborating with specialist teams when necessary.
Support cyclical people activities within client groups, working closely with the Senior People Business Partners.
Maintain HRIS knowledge to troubleshoot user queries and identify opportunities for improvement.
Develop subject matter expertise on HR policies/procedures and employment legislation, ensuring current and sound advice is provided.
About You
You are an aspiring HR generalist looking to grow into a Business Partnering role or discover what specialist area interests you. You should have:
Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business, or relevant field.
1-2+ years of HR generalist experience, including exposure to employment legislation and advisory services.
Ability to balance conflicting priorities within a changing environment.
Strong communication and administrative skills.
Discretion, confidentiality, and professionalism are a must.
Proficiency in MS applications and HR systems.
Team-oriented and results-focused mindset.
