People & Culture Manager - ER and WHS FocusWestern Sydney based HR Manager opportunity with an ER and WHS focus.
Your new companyHigh growth Western Sydney based business with a global footprint. Working in a close-knit, high-performing national team with staff reporting in locally. Seeking an Immediate Start in December or early January at latest.
Your new roleReporting to the Head of HR and Head of Operations on site, you will manage a diverse client group across the site including blue collar, retail and distribution workforces. You will support and coach both white collar and blue collar employees and leaders in all areas of HR matters, workforce planning and development, and full employee life cycle for all staff at the site.
Key areas will include:
Employee Relations, EBA and award interpretation, performance management and coaching;Industrial relations with new EBA negotiations in the pipeline supported by a wider HR team;Delivering on wider HR policies and processes, HR risk and compliance;Overseeing WHS and delivering development programs for employees at all levels and training;Managing a small team and leading on any people projects and change management.What you'll need to succeedYou will be an experienced HR Business Partner or HR Manager with a number of years HR experience and someone who is a true generalist with excellent ER knowledge and expertise.You will be flexible and adaptable and enjoy being out and about across a business, visiting different sites and offices and enjoy building relationships.Experience in EBA negotiation and change management would be highly desirable.You will ideally have experience of working with blue-collar workers, unionised workforces or across multiple sites e.g. Warehousing, Distribution, M&O or Operations.You must be a self-starter, be a positive team player and have passion and energy for what you do.What you'll get in returnYou will get to work for a superb brand with great benefits; a bonus scheme, systems and people programs.You will take on this new role and make it your own and there can be career development on offer and training.
