At Healthscope we realise how hard you've studied to get to this point. Taking the next step in your career is an important milestone. With us you can kick start your employment as an early career nurse or midwife through our comprehensive and individually tailored program. With full time or part time options available (minimum 0.8 FTE), our 12-month program is coupled with an additional Consolidation Year to further support your transition to practice and develop your clinical skills and knowledge.

Peninsula Private Hospital has been providing healthcare services to the Redcliffe Peninsula community for over 30 years. The 70 patient-bed private hospital, situated in Kippa Ring, provides medical, surgical and rehabilitation healthcare services. Our healthcare team treat patients with dignity and respect, ensuring that each patient receives the best quality care. Our patients health and fast recovery is paramount and we will provide comfort, assistance and bespoke care to each patient.
Enrolled Nurses at Healthscope perform a variety of tasks under the supervision of registered nurses. Some of the tasks that you may be responsible for, in collaboration with the Registered Nurse, include caring for a group of patients, patient admission and discharge, medication administration, wound care, pre and post-operative care and liaising with medical staff and other health professionals. You will have the opportunity to continually develop, improve and promote best evidence-based practice.
