What your day will look like: As a Peer Support Worker, you will assist consumers, carers and families, service providers and Non-Government organisations to develop a better understanding of the recovery framework while utilising a lived experience of mental health issues to work towards achieving the best outcomes for consumers.
You will be a considered communicator and will be adept at building rapport with a wide variety of stakeholders.
You will provide support to inpatients from a peer perspective and serve as a positive role model in inspiring hope and the belief that recovery is possible.
