We are currently seeking a Maintenance Planner at our Coppabella Moorvale Joint Venture (CMJV) Mine. Our CMJV mine complex consists of two open-cut mine operations located approximately 140 kilometres southwest of Mackay that produce premium low-volatile pulverized coal (LV-PCI) for export markets, with an extension of an additional pit at Moorvale South, adding to our coal production.
About the role:
We are currently seeking a Light Vehicle & Auxiliary Equipment Planner for our Coppabella/Moorvale Joint Venture. This role reports to the Maintenance Engineering and Planning Superintendent and provides a high level of maintenance planning support for the Light Vehicle and Auxiliary Fleet.
Key responsibilities:
Maintain and enhance maintenance planning and scheduling to maximise equipment availability and reliability. Implement and monitor maintenance strategies effectively. Maintain master data records and oversee warranty processes. Develop, plan, and schedule activities for short-, mid-, and long-term timelines. Actively forecast costs for planned work and manage budgets. Ensure adherence to work management procedures. Ensure compliance with relevant statutory, legislative, and site policies and procedures. This position is offered on a 9-day fortnight (Monday to Friday, Monday to Thursday) roster and allows for a residential (Moranbah or Nebo), DIDO, or FIFO lifestyle. Team members living residentially may have access to a $15,000 housing allowance and the option to salary sacrifice up to 50% of rental payments.
About you:
Demonstrated experience in maintenance planning and scheduling for mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical equipment. Strong working knowledge of SAP, MS Project, and maintenance planning and scheduling principles. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Proven experience in safety systems and processes. In addition, you demonstrate a commitment to safety and a sound understanding of risk and hazard identification. You are a collaborative team member with a flexible attitude and a strong work ethic.
