Starting in 2025, this role involves designing and delivering innovative lesson plans tailored to diverse learning styles, promoting physical fitness, and encouraging personal development.
Teachers will assess student progress through various methods, offer constructive feedback, and adapt strategies to meet individual needs.
The successful applicant will foster a supportive classroom atmosphere that encourages enthusiasm for health and fitness, while actively participating in professional development and contributing to the school's educational community.
The Duties Demonstrates knowledge, competence and confidence in Stage 4 – 5 PDHPE and Stage 5 PASS courses Thorough understanding of effective teaching strategies for PDHPE, applicable across various educational settings and year levels.
Well-versed in NESA guidelines, with a strong grasp of the curriculum and relevant standards Ability to integrate technology and contemporary resources to enhance learning and keep the curriculum relevant and engaging Familiarity with Stage 6 PDHPE/HMS is preferred but not required if you are willing to work towards it.
