We're looking for people who are determined to make life better for people around the world.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIESAchieve sales targets by promoting products to targeted customersDevelop strong, long-term relationships with Key Customers in primary care (GPs)Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction is achieved and maintainedRespond to customer requests in a timely and effective mannerPromote the image of Lilly in disease state areasDevelop & maintain excellent knowledge of disease area, products, competitors, and market developmentsDevelop detailed territory business plans based on territory analysisDevelop specific territory action plans for key customersEnter and maintain accurate records of customer interactionsBe a strong team player and work collaboratively with Lilly colleaguesAble to use technology effectivelyEnsure all activities comply with legal and ethical standardsQuickly build knowledge of current treatment guidelinesIdentify & offer multi-channel solutions that align with the Lilly portfolioAddress customer needs and promote the productsREPORTING RELATIONSHIPThis role reports to the Regional Business Manager.Most Critical Skills & Attributes:Account & Stakeholder Management – An ability to manage key accounts and enhance relationshipsScientific Knowledge and Application – Ability to understand and disseminate scientific informationStrong Professional Communication – Strong interpersonal skills to share relevant informationBusiness Acumen – Understanding of business drivers for both customer and organizationPlanning and Execution – Ability to review data and strategically plan actionsHigh Level Organizational Skills – Ability to prioritize and deliver on customer requirementsLearning Agility – Effectively deal with a variety of people and situationsEmotional Intelligence – Evaluate emotions to understand drivers of behaviorResilience – Determination to achieve goals despite challengesCompliance – Understanding of operating principles and practicesPrior Knowledge or Experience:Prior experience in a sales or account management role is highly desirableProven expertise in the diabetes therapy area is desirableAbility to use technology effectively for administrative and compliance requirementsLilly is dedicated to helping individuals with disabilities to actively engage in the workforce, ensuring equal opportunities.
