As a Boiler Attendant you will be required to:Operate 2 MW boilers to ensure safe and reliable operation of the boilerEnsure the recording of accurate information in the day-to-day performance of the rendering facilityResponsible for reporting accurate stock inventories of ingredients and related consumable itemsMake sound judgments regarding product quality, consult with technical resources as neededParticipate in problem-solving teams as requiredUnderstand and follow work instructionsConduct a pre-start audit to ensure all necessary and required steps have been followed and equipment is ready for start-up according to set-up parametersEnsure accurate information is communicated in shift handovers and other communication logsAssist with continuous improvement projects, as assigned or availableYou will bring to this roleCurrent Australian Driver's LicenseBoiler license and/or mechanical experience (highly desirable)Previous work experience which demonstrates mechanical/technical aptitudeRole model uncompromising commitment to health, safety, and quality in the workplaceAbility to work well under pressureHigh attention to detailWe're looking for people who are curious, caring, courageous, and committed to join us.
