Role - PC Deployment Technician / IT Technician / Deployment EngineerDuration - Short Term AssignmentLocation: Melbourne CBDStarts next weekThe RoleYou will be assisting in de-installing and installing laptops at client locations based in Melbourne.Unpack laptops and assist the technical support team in preparing the devices for distribution (instructions will be provided).Move devices to the device swap area as per the schedule.Collect old devices from users and hand over new devices.Complete checklists for old and new devices.Assist end-users in resolving issues as per "How to Guide" (instructions will be provided) and assist in creating IT tickets for unresolved issues.Complete post-deployment checks and obtain physical signoff from end-users.Update user and device details in a tracking spreadsheet.Move old devices to a central location and pack them into old boxes.Dispose of excess rubbish at on-site rubbish bins as directed by the local site contact.Skills/ExperienceDegree or diploma in information technology or equivalent qualification is a must.2-5 years of experience as a Technician/Support Engineer/IT Technician.Experience with device management is required for this role.Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise with numerous stakeholders.Experience working with customers.Available to start next week.If you are looking for your next assignment, click on the APPLY NOW tab and send through an updated copy of your CV.
