You will be joining an experienced and vibrant Payroll team in our Wodonga office, where you will be encouraged to explore your passion and build your skills throughout.
Reporting into the Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for all aspects of payroll from the recording of accurate time and attendance data and payroll processing through to the reconciliation of general ledger accounts (don't worry, we teach it all!).
This is a 12-month fixed-term contract. What are we looking for?Previous payroll experience/knowledge is preferred, but not essential.A keen willingness to learn.Passion for finance, either looking to study or continuing to in this field.Great attention to detail.Understanding of systems and strong Excel skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.A love for coffee/tea and a great sense of humor!What will be your key responsibilities?Timely and accurate processing of our weekly or biweekly pay-run (don't worry, plenty of training, support and instructions are provided).Establish & maintain accurate payroll records for all units in ANZ.Assisting and supporting the payroll team in ensuring all time and attendance records are processed accurately and on time.Providing exceptional follow-up and resolution to internal customers, providing support to answer general queries or resolve outstanding issues.Ensure compliance to the payroll processes and implementation of continuous improvement.Build relationships across all ANZ business units to ensure service standards are met or exceeded.What can you expect from Mars?Genuine career progression with a focus on you and your career goals.
