THE COMPANY
Well-established Victorian provider of high-quality Aged Care, Disability and Specialist Education Services.

THE OPPORTUNITY
Reporting to the highly experienced Senior Manager - Payroll, the Payroll Team Leader will assume responsibility for a high-performing team of 4 Payroll Officers who process payrolls for around 3500 employees.
It is a largely self-sufficient team with multiple long-tenured members.
You will have a small portfolio to process yourself but a major priority of the role is to ensure that the Payroll team operates smoothly on a day-to-day basis.
Other areas of focus for this role include but are not limited to the below:
Process Improvement & Service Delivery Oversee EOM reporting processes Contributing to ongoing projects Work with the team to ensure smooth and accurate processing of Super, WorkCover, Salary Packaging and more Training of new Team Members Acting as a point of escalation for complex queries Payroll reporting, and auditing employee master file data POSITIVES
This is a stepping-stone position for any career-minded Payroll Professional who desires to be a Payroll Manager in a large organisation.
This role will provide you with the combination of people management/high volume that is the key to getting to the Senior Management level.

The combination of high-volume transactional payroll processes and the complexity of diversified Health Service offerings presents challenges for everyone in this industry sector.

The Hiring Manager is specifically seeking a Payroll Professional with demonstrated ability:
Working within a highly transactional payroll processing environment, particularly within the Aged Care sector Prior experience coaching, mentoring and training employees Developing, communicating and executing initiatives around process improvement WHY SHOULD YOU APPLY?
