As a Payroll Team Leader, you'll play a pivotal role in driving the efficiency, accuracy, and compliance of payroll processes, leading a team of payroll professionals. Reporting to the National Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing payroll processing, compliance, system improvements, and contributing to key strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities A day in the life of your role as a Payroll Team Leader will incorporate:
Leadership, mentoring, and performance management and development of the payroll team to foster high performance.Oversee the timely and accurate processing of payroll in compliance with legislation, awards, and policies.First point of contact for complex payroll queries and escalate issues as needed to the National Payroll Manager.Delivery of insightful and timely reports to support strategies and business objectives.Provide high-level support to the National Payroll Manager.Lead and implement key projects and improvement opportunities.Desired Skills and Experience Ability to work well under pressure and to set deadlines.Minimum 3-5 years of management experience.Minimum 8 years of experience in payroll.Strong knowledge of payroll legislation, award interpretation, and compliance.Proven ability to lead teams and drive operational improvements.Experience with payroll software, system integrations, and upgrades.Exceptional customer service and communication skills.What's in it for you?
