This role will support in the effective use and management of payroll data held within SCA's various HRIS systems, and will also support the Payroll Manager in the implementation and transition to a new payroll system over the 12 month period.
We are looking for someone who can provide high quality payroll advice, support and information services to the Southern Cross Austereo group, whilst supporting the development of systems and procedures to improve Southern Cross Austereo's payroll processing and service to employees.What you'll be doing:Manage the end-to-end processing of each fortnightly, monthly and ad hoc pay run ensuring all SCA employees are paid correctly and on time.Provide support to the payroll officers and a point of escalation for queries or concerns relating to pay, leave and benefits.Ensure team effectiveness and a focus on delivering high quality outcomes within the payroll.Supervision of the payroll inbox.Complete all end of month processing and reconciliations as required including payroll tax and leave liability reporting.Calculation of employee terminations including redundancies and associated reporting, taxation implications etc.Provide efficient, high quality and accurate payroll advice to the Southern Cross Austereo group including superannuation, termination payments and payments under awards.Maintenance of Award rates in the Financials system, including table maintenance.Maintenance of the organisation structure within the Financials system, including cost centre assignmentAssist the Payroll Manager to ensure Southern Cross Austereo meets their obligations in terms of ATO payroll legislation and Superannuation Guarantee ContributionsLiaison with and support for, GL team in bank reconciliations, superannuation payments, and payroll tax, and interpretation of Payroll to GL journal postings.Undertake and support activities relating to HRIS change or transition projects as required, including but not limited to UAT, data migration and process documentation.Experience we're looking for: Minimum 3+ years payroll experience and proven track record within a senior payroll officer or team lead role in an organization of 1,500 + employeesExcellent communication and time management skillsStrong systems skills and willingness to learn new technology, experience with Chris21 and/or Dayforce highly desirableAbility to work autonomously and as part of a teamExceptional attention to detail, approaches work in a systematic, consistent, and methodical mannerWe are a values driven organisation - if you genuinely live and breathe our values, you'll be a great addition to SCA.We're Better TogetherPeople are our PowerAlways CuriousWe Push Doors OpenBe GenuineStill not convinced?Head to our TikTok, Life@LiSTNR, for a sneak peak into some of the fun we have at SCA!Keen?
