The RoleOur client is undertaking a transformation of its people based systems, including a significant upgrade of the Rostering, Time and Attendance system to the cloud platform and an implementation of a new HCM system (Workday). Reporting directly to the Payroll Systems Manager, you will be an integral member of a high performing payroll function. Key duties will include:
Act as the primary Payroll representative in system implementation and upgrade projects, liaising with the project team and stakeholders as needed.Contribute to project planning, including setting realistic timelines and proactively identifying risks, and collaborate with stakeholders to mitigate risks and ensure timely project completion.Provide payroll systems and data subject matter expertise in workshops, leveraging deep expertise in Rostering/Time & Attendance, HCM and Payroll systems to guide implementation planning.Promptly deliver assigned project tasks, keeping the project manager abreast of progress and escalating risks and issues as identified.Deliver data extracts, data analysis and data cleansing to enable data conversion and load to move the primary employee record from the payroll system to the new HCM system. Identify information that no longer needs to be maintained in the payroll system and plan clean-up of the payroll system as needed.Provide subject matter expertise for integrations with the Payroll System, such as employee record, leave, hours worked, etc.Develop comprehensive test scripts and participate in testing to ensure system integrity, accurate system integration with the payroll system, and accurate award interpretation and pay outcomes.Validate system configuration and data compliance to ensure adherence to Enterprise Agreements, organisation policies and relevant Industrial Instruments covering the aged care sector.The CandidateThe following attributes will be essential in order to be successful in the role:
Minimum of 5 year's experience in Chris21 system administration, with a demonstrated ability to manage and optimise payroll configurations.Minimum of 5 years of Time Target / Humanforce experience, with knowledge of Enterprise Agreement configuration highly desirable.Experience managing and providing support for payroll and time and attendance solutions.In-depth knowledge of application architecture, encompassing the design, integration and functionality of core system components within payroll environments.Demonstrated expertise in troubleshooting, diagnosing, testing, and resolving application issues.In-depth knowledge of application user access control and application audit review processes.Proficient in analysing and interpreting large datasets using Excel and/or Power BI, with the ability to generate actionable insights and detailed reports.Experience interpreting multiple complex Industry Awards and Enterprise Agreements.Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable information for non-technical stakeholders.Exceptional attention to detail in all aspects of work.Strong analytical and critical problem-solving skills.Please apply immediately or visit www.pattisonandwalker.com.au for additional opportunities.
