The Knauf Group is without doubt one of the big players on the market – in Europe, the USA, South America, Asia, Africa, and Australia.About the role:Knauf is currently seeking Payroll Support Officer to join a friendly Payroll team based in Camellia, NSW for a full-time permanent opportunity.
Reporting to the Payroll Supervisor, this role is responsible for the relationship and information linkage between the outsourced payroll provider (Tambla) and Knauf to ensure the full processing of all payrolls for Knauf Employees across Australia (approx.
720 people), while maintaining a very high proactive customer service focus at all times to deliver a service where all wages/salaries are processed within agreed timeframes as required by the respective awards and EA's.This person will also be one of the primary contacts for payroll related enquiries within the business, which will require an intricate knowledge of the relevant Awards / EA's for the area under their control as well as all payroll legislative requirements.Main responsibilities include:Conduct all payroll related activities in a timely manner conforming to all ethical, internal policies and legislative guidelines and maintain accurate records in both hard and soft copy format.Help to complete one (1) monthly and three (3) weekly pay runs with accurate reconciliation review of weekly, monthly payrolls through exceptional reporting and rectification where required.Process workers comp payment for approved claims.
Work with work fit and insurers to confirm details.Act as go-between with Tambla and the business to ensure the full processing of all payroll functions for Knauf employees across Australia.
All wages/salaries will be paid within agreed timeframes as required by the respective Awards and EAs.Ensure all payroll issues raised are resolved within agreed timeframes.Effective review and signoff of Employee master-file maintenance, such as employee addresses, positions, salary details, tax details, banking details, allowances, super and deductions.Act as point of contact within the business, gateway contact to Tambla for payroll related queries, requiring an intricate knowledge of the relevant Award / EA for the area under their control as well as all payroll legislative requirements.Review of termination payments and records.Maintain electronic personnel files and keep records of leave, payroll changes, overtime, and other related matters on employee's files.As the ideal candidate, you will have:Previous experience with high volume payroll and multiple award / EA interpretation including high volume processing and calculation entitlements and allowances.Minimum of 2 years payroll experience.Self-starter with high attention to detail.Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office / Excel.Experience with the following systems desirable:KRONOS Workforce Central - electronic time & attendance system.SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll.SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central (HRIS).Experience with an outsourced payroll provider model also desirable.Strong communication skills.A great positive attitude and excellent work ethic.Experience working in a large organization.On Offer:Hybrid working arrangement.Competitive Salary package (base + super).Yearly pay review.14-week Parental Leave (Primary Carer).High organic internal growth promoted within.Grow in a highly competent team environment.Opportunity to work in a fun, high-paced and safe work environment.Free on-site parking.Knauf values and is committed to creating a diverse working environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
